40 days and 40 nights (40 hari dan 40 malam)

Allah is The Most Kind, The Most Benevolent

Allah had put us on earth for one purpose only and that is to serve Him. We, as His servants must do what we can to achieve Allah's shibghah (touch). Many of us sometimes forget how kind The All Mighty Creator really is. He gives us rains so that our plants will grow and so that there won't be forest fires. He gives us vast ground so that we can grow fruits, vegetables and tress & breed farm animals for us to make use of. Allah had given us the seven seas and rivers for us to appreciate and preserve. Allah dislikes those who does mischief on His earth.

The Jews say: "Allah's hand is tied up." Be their hands tied up and be they accursed for the (blasphemy) they utter. Nay both His hands are widely outstretched: He giveth and spendeth (of His bounty) as He pleaseth. But the revelation that cometh to thee from Allah increaseth in most of them their obstinate rebellion and blasphemy. Amongst them We have placed enmity and hatred till the Day of Judgment. Every time they kindle the fire of war, Allah doth extinguish it; but they (ever) strive to do mischief on earth. And Allah loveth not those who do mischief. [Al-Maidah: 64]

We have seen many instances in the past where humans were ruined because of what they had done and not because of what Allah had done to them. A perfect and a common example would be smoking as well as obesity. According to http://www.medicalnewstoday.com, "American government researchers said that obesity is quickly overtaking smoking as the country's number one killer. In fact, obesity is becoming such a problem that many experts now say it is compromising all the benefits of recent improvements in health care and medical breakthroughs." The irony for these two major cause of death is people continue to eat more than ever!

What they spend in the life of this (material) world may be likened to a wind Which brings a nipping frost: it strikes and destroys the harvest of men who have wronged their own souls; it is not Allah that hath wronged them, but they wrong themselves. [Ali-'Imran: 117]

This conundrum has been sparking a wider electrical wave everywhere especially in Asian countries. More Asians are spending more on eating and on cigarettes. Not only that, it epidemic
has become somewhat a fashion. A typical situation would be, "hey! Let's eat at McDonalds because that's where 'cool people' hangout and not go to an mamak (old-fashioned) restaurant cause I definitely don't want to be labeled as "not in it". So, it all comes down to your eating 'rituals'. If you're used to eating 2 full plates in one meal, then, you will probably end up dying 'heavy' and that would be troublesome.

Our beloved Prophet Muhammad (phub) through his teachings had taught his followers to follow his footsteps in our daily life; the way he eat/pray/sleep/interact/bathe & so much more. In fact, everything that he did can be applied more so than ever! For instance, every now and again, we are sometimes unsure what to do when times get tough or which career path we ought to select. One way of dealing with this is by performing the Istikhoroh Prayer (this is
a Two Rak'at offered when seeking blessing fro God Almighty). For those who aren't married yet can control your desire or lust by fasting voluntarily during Mondays and Thursday. One thing that you need know about voluntary fasting (sunnah) would be one needs to make sure that he or she needs to know everything there is to know about fasting; such as the things that will make your fast invalid like eating intentionally. InsyaAllah (God's willing), I will try to produce an article specifically regarding fasting.

As mentioned earlier, we must not take advantage of the things that Allah has created/given for/to us. Taking advantage of what you say? Well, have you ever run your tap while you brush your teeth or have you ever taken your wudhu (ablution) with excess water. I hear that you can actually take your wudhu (ablution) just with 2 kilo, let me know how much water is that in litre(s). Sadly, there are many more examples of this. Nonetheless, I pray that Allah will show you the right path.

Now, this is the most interesting part of this article. You see, what makes a habit a habit? And how many days does one needs to last before something becomes a habit? According to http://www.thehabitexperts.com,
a habit is a re-current , often unconscious pattern of behavior that is acquired through frequent repetition. Basically, when you do something regularly, it will eventually become your habit no matter what it is. This is why in Islam, we are asked to pray 5 times a day and amongst other obligatory acts.This is to help us not to forget who created us in the beginning and to remind us that we will surely return to Him one day.

Who is it that will offer up unto God a goodly loan,* which He will amply repay, with manifold increase? For, God takes away, and He gives abundantly; and it is unto Him that you shall be brought back. [Al-Baqarah: 245]

*by sacrificing one's life/possession/belongings in, or devoting it to, His cause.

We appointed for Musa thirty nights, and completed (the period) with ten (more): thus was completed the term (of communion) with his Lord, forty nights. And Musa had charged his brother Harun (before he went up): "Act for me amongst my people: do right, and follow not the way of those who do mischief,"
[Al-A’raaf:142]

Allah's Apostle, the true and truly inspired said, "(The matter of the Creation of) a human being is put together in the womb of the mother in forty days, and then he becomes a clot of thick blood for a similar period, and then a piece of flesh for a similar period. Then Allah sends an angel who is ordered to write four things. He is ordered to write down his (i.e. the new creature's) deeds, his livelihood, his (date of) death, and whether he will be blessed or wretched (in religion). Then the soul is breathed into him. So, a man amongst you may do (good deeds till there is only a cubit between him and Paradise and then what has been written for him decides his behavior and he starts doing (evil) deeds characteristic of the people of the (Hell) Fire. And similarly a man amongst you may do (evil) deeds till there is only a cubit between him and the (Hell) Fire, and then what has been written for him decides his behavior, and he starts doing deeds characteristic of the people of Paradise."(Sahih Bukhari & Muslim)

Anas reported: A time limit has been prescribed for us for clipping the moustache, cutting the nails, plucking hair under the armpits, shaving the pubes, that it should not be neglected far more than forty nights. [Sahih Muslim]

I have found a few facts about the importance of 40 days as shown above. From there we can see how important the development of 40 days is. For example, each and everyone of us is recommended to shave armpits and pubes roughly every 40 days time. Perhaps, this is to make sure that we are clean and fresh. Simple but often neglected.

So, time again plays an important role during the development for a baby as well as for grown ups. If one used to slack off during his school days, then, God's willing, he will do the same when he starts working. I've read an article about Behaving badly: Why harmful habits stick. It raises issues such as why do people still do it when they know its not good for them. From this article, it was concluded that its social acceptance that makes people do what they do. True, most of us are accorded to the doings of the majority; we see people started kite-flying, we follow; we see people started to wear sleeveless, we would not want to be out of fashion!; we see people giving tinted dark glass, we follow suit and so on. I see this as a social illness. Why? From what i have observed..

Most people often follow that is sinful wrond especially from an Islamic viewpoint and only a small number follow what is good

Examples are countless! Let's take just one of the many. Football (soccer in the US)! ah yes...everybody loves football, cheers and claps all around. Let's make that wave and chant, "ole... ole... ole..." Its really nice to see that people are cheering for their favorite team but really, do they do what ole ole ole means? That's 1. Men in shorts. Now, thats a term you don't hear often. In Islam there are guidelines as to how man and woman should dress in public and the last time I checked, it is obligatory (wajib) for men to cover themselves up accordingly/decently:

"The male should cover that part of his body which is between the navel and the knee." (Related by Al-Mabsut)

And...tell me I'm wrong...PLEASE

The `awrah (private parts to be necessarily covered) for men includes what is between the navel and the knees as stated by the Prophet (sallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam), so covering it is obligatory according to Islamic law. Wearing shorts that disclose the thighs or show the shape of the buttocks, does not cover the `awrah. Neither does a dress that is transparent and displays skin complexion, nor a tight dress that shows the size, shape or bends of the `awrah. All of this is prohibited (haraam) in front of people whether the women are ashamed of looking at it or not. If the trousers (or pants) are wide enough and not tight, then one may tuck his shirt in it as long as it does not display his `awrah. Covering the `awrah is obligatory during the prayer and outside it. What many people do is cover their `awrah while going to prayer but are negligent of it outside the prayer. This is a clear mistake and a wrong act which happens due to lack of understanding or as a result of a misunderstanding of the matter.[link]

In some ways, the crowds are 'cheering' for the fate that awaits for the football team during Judgement Day but the crowds are all the same. We say we fear Allah but do we really? Unconsciously, we are supporting "men who wear short pants" and disregarding Allah's decree. #2 The worse thing is, this "dress code" is also happens in the Middle Eastern Countries such as UAE. But may I remind you that not ALL muslims wear shorts during football.

So, thats habit! Something that your're used to fond of seeing, hearing and most importantly adapting. Perhaps, this misconception had been overlooked by many (parents & teachers) ever since we were still toddlers. This is mostly because our upbringing were not directed towards an Islamic living perspective but more towards a non-islamic westernize behavior; remember as a child wearing shorts/tights/skirts/dresses/costumes/swimsuits and so on. These things we used to wear indirectly reflects what we have become now as we are "used to it" and we see it as nothing as it is me, I like it this way so please get away...

Fortunately, in Islam, there is always solutions in every situation/problem/dilemma/issues/sickness except death.

Allah SWT never send down a disease to mankind without sending down a cure for it. [Narrated by Imam Bukhari]

One of the way to change the negative habits is through knowledge. If we have the facts right, we can then analyze and decide. Self-discipline is another factor which I think is very crucial in scrapping of that bad habit of ours. Istiqomah or regularity & consistency is also important as many of us are often forgetful and neglectful with our surrounding. Sincerity is perhaps the root of all goodness because if one is sincere, Allah will guide him/her through, insyaAllah. "Allah will help those who help themselves." Patience is the key to success. Our beloved Prophet Muhammad saw had shown many examples where his patience in daawah had prevailed worldwide. They say, Iraq had weapons of mass destruction, actually, they were wrong! The biggest weapon a muslim could ever have is invinsible, untouchable & everlasting and that is the power of Doa (prayer). Doa is a weapon for a believer. Have faith in our doa, and seek help from Allah SWT.

"Doa can protect againtst the test that had been sent down and also those which had not been sent down. When the test was being sent down, the test and doa will clash against each other until the Day of Judgement". [Narrated by Hakim]

You need to be aware that doa alone cannot work without effort as well as fulfilling your duty as a muslim; pray daily and not according to the season you are in. Ever wonder why we Muslims were asked to fast in Ramadhan for 30 days? All knowledge is only known by the Creator. Not only its 1 of the 5 pillars of Islam but I think, its to teach us to be a better muslim devotee but then again you need to ascertain that you are actually fasting and not 'just fasting'.

Actually fasting - avoid all things which make the fast invalid and lesser 'points'
Just fasting - acting like normal days or pretending to fast: still go to the fridge/still watch haram things/still bad mouthing/smoke still and normal list goes on.

May Allah SWT saves us from hellfire and pour His Blessings
unto us.

[heard from somewhere]

Semoga Tuhan memudahkan kita melafazkan kalimah
Laa ilaa ha ill lallah semasa maut mendatangi...

6) Mengubah niat, misalnya ingin berhenti solat
11) Mendahului imam dua rukun

Wallahu'alam.

Harum Vs Berbau (bau asem/mulut..)

Seperti firman Allah SWT:

Orang-orang Yahudi berkata, "Tangan Allah terbelenggu."

From a leader to a peasant (f|NAL chapter)

In the name of Allah, The Most Gracious, The Most Merciful.

[From part 1]....Is this really a good enough excuse for the senior generation not to adapt to changes? Well, it really depends on that individual as in each and everyone of us have different needs and wants. You may prefer your coffee with less sugar and I prefer not to drink coffee at all. This goes to show that I cannot satisfy everybody. However, learning is really a challenge for some and can be quite demeaning up to the point where a person would almost do anything to pass a lousy test. To be successful, you don’t really need to finish on top because what’s important is whether you can make it into practice. Imagine reading a whole book about protein & health. After passing the exam, would you really think you pass the same test 5 years later?

In Islam, I are thought to “practice what you preach” and The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) is the best example of this and there will be no one like him. He practiced everything that he read in the Qur’an that He was once said to be the walking Al Qur’an (Koran). As his follower, everyone regardless of age/sex/status should follow his footstep. Then, why do most of us choose to give up study and do the following; get employed, get married and have kids? Actually, things should not even be this way. That is why to reflect back to our earlier statement, what makes a person wealth is the knowledge that person has. If you were given $3,000,000.00 dollars, what would you do with it?

a) I don’t know

b) I think I’ll buy a car that cost 2million and I’ll spend the rest on girls, gambling and traveling.

c) Invest in a permissible (halal) low risk & low return project, build a mosque in my village, feed the needy and twofold the amount so that I can help more people.

A would be a person who is incapable of making decisions and perhaps this is due to a slight lack of knowledge. B would be a person who is rich but eager to finish his money without thinking of his future. And C is a person who is not only knowledgeable but also thought of his plans for the future here and after. There is clear distinctions between the 3 individuals and which do you think is the richest amongst them in terms of money and knowledge? Knowledge is probably the most profitable business opportunity for anyone. Unfortunately, the point of this article has not been pointed out. I started out with the definition of wealth (corrected) and later found that wealth is the knowledge you have.

The latter statement still holds true but the “knowledge” I Ire trying to convey is knowledge about Islam itself whether you’re a Moslem or a non-Moslem. If you read carefully, all those knowledge mentioned earlier Ire all towards this universe; teacher, doctor, leader, prime minister, surgeon, spouse, cleaner, a religious teacher? And so on. This is the enigma that hovers over us for quite some time now and solve this, insyaAllah through knowledge. Would it be possible if a person who has acquired PhD or a bachelor’s degree cannot recite Surah Al-Fatihah properly? Would it be possible if a sewage cleaner would recite the same verse perfectly? With time, everything learnt during the early days of religious classes would slowly fades like the winter breeze and rapidly fades like snow flakes, for some. This happens everywhere unfortunately. I think it is due to the mindset I all have; money money money; work, work, work; promotion promotion promotion and all the materials.

On the other side of the fence, a scoop of us may be thinking of; death; life after death; heaven or hell and all that is related. I purposely typed certain words trice to emphasize how desperate, forgetful and neglectful some of us are. You may be a housewife, a boss, a student or to a lowest form, that does not mean you cannot read books about Islam. I don't have the time? I hear that non-Moslem scholars and reverts (converts) in the Western world especially are more curious to know more about Islam than those who are already Moslems. What does that indicate? Are we lazy to study? Are we lazy to broaden our knowledge about Islam especially about? I for one am trying to squeeze time to read books about Islam and everything related to Islam.

I am thankful to Allah that there are still those who still give a heed about the basic of Islam and pity those who does not. I pray to Allah that our heart stays pure and that Allah helps us in this journey. So you see, whether you are leader or a peasant, acquiring knowledge about the canvas of Islam and the poles fixated to it is an ongoing process and it’s a duty of every Moslem.

I pray to Allah that our heart stays pure and that Allah helps us in this temporary journey.

Say: "Who is the Lord and Sustainer of the heavens and the earth?" Say: "(It is) Allah." Say: "Do ye then take (for worship) protectors other than Him, such as have no power either for good or for harm to themselves?" Say: "Are the blind equal with those who see? Or the depths of darkness equal with Light?" Or do they assign to Allah partners who have created (anything) as He has created, so that the creation seemed to them similar? Say: "Allah is the Creator of all things: He is the One, the Supreme and Irresistible." [Ar-R’ad]

Kebanyakan manusia tidak bersyukur

Segala yang terbaik hanya untuk Allah.

MASA

Mari kita perhatikan sedikit tentang filem yang tidak asing lagi bagi kita iaitu "Back to the Future".

From a leader to a peasant

In the Name of Allah, The Most Gracious and The Most Merciful

Do you remember when life was so simple and permanent? Everything was less, everything was simple, everyone was trustworthy and everyone had less to complain about. I hear that people could just leave their cars running without being paranoid. They could also leave their house doors open (literally speaking) without worrying if someone would creep during daylight and steal belongings. Its all too different now. Things are complex, things are nerve-splitting and its never-ending. Just like Harry Potter and lord of the rings.*smirks*. Nonetheless, it was quite quiet back then and much more peaceful; less traffic, less night bugs, less pollution and less money to spend. Huh?

Would you say that people who have enough money to get through the day is much happier than those who have extra? Its not just money, it’s the wealth they have. Our society NOW has perceived wealth as having bags of cash, big houses, condominiums, 3 mobile phones, sport cars and wearing fancy attires and accessories. Perhaps, it is how we have been made to believe since we are all brought up in a century where everything must be in tip-top condition. Meaning, if your not playing your parts right, then, you will probably be left out, shivering and feeling alone. Pathetic it may seem...the majority of us have the tendency to fly away from our nest especially those who has and had the opportunity to study abroad. Some choose to pursue a career in medicine, engineering, law, and business, automotive and so on and so forth. The pattern is pretty apparent. We are all sucked in into this blurry path aimed to pursue finite happiness. Sounds like a perfect world. A dog eat dog world made up of interest (usury) as medicine and the 7 deadly sins as the ‘antiseptic’ wash. This place we love so much of would be tarnished as it already has and WILL get worse if we stay idle.

Why Islam is the Greatest and the only one true religion well-pleased by Allah?

“...This day have I perfected your religion for you, completed My favour upon you, and have chosen for you Islam as your religion...” [Al-Maidah: 3]

“The religion before Allah is Islam (submission to His Will): nor did the people of the Book dissent therefrom except through envy of each other, after knowledge had come to them. But if any deny the Signs of Allah, Allah is swift in calling to account.” [Al-‘Imran: 19]

This world is getting old as the rate as we know is getting faster by each second; icebergs on the North Pole are melting as we breath; forests are sliced flat; the inactive quiet mountains are giving a little gist of the real blast; garbage cans are not being properly utilized; & worse of all, time is not being fully used. What was the cause & effect? Although there have been no survey or test being conducted for this article but we think that the overlaying problem mentioned above is caused by lack of knowledge. It has been proven in history that for humans to act beyond its capability and in such humility. This is caused by the latter mentioned. Idiotic really! We have been in many situations where we acted beyond the normal prescribed norms. As a normal human being, we are naturally susceptible to, to name a few, sudden burst; jealousy; & hopelessness. But that does not give us the excuse to act the way we do. The more we acquire knowledge the more calm we are and the more calm we become, we are then have less issues to worry about. In relation to Islam, as a Moslem not just by name, we are required to study as hard as we can accord to one’s will and capability. We are all capable really.

There is a notion that exists in our community where when a person reaches his/her 50 or 55, there is no need for these ‘seniors’ to learn further. In fact, this habit has penetrated into the minds of those who aged above 45. This is very misleading in an Islamic viewpoint and has been proven contagious. It’s a wonderful idea that people are being trained, attending seminars, sitting for pre-requisite tests but would they really practice what they will learn/have learn/learned. Computer development we think is the turning point of this article. How many times have you heard ‘senior’ people are more reluctant to use computers / laptops during work? VS How many times have you heard that young people are reluctant to use computers? How old do you think those people who sit in a WiFi coffee shops or food courts that uses their laptop? We are positive that if a study was conducted, we would roughly estimate that about 99.1% of those who uses computers or laptops are youths ranging from 19 to 35 of age. We can conclude that senior people are used to using typewriters and the conservative PP (papers & pencil) to do their work as they would see this as “good enough” practice...

Please don't cry (Part 2)

By now, my tear buds felt as if it had drained out. Everyone was just the same. We were all producing blood tears and it is not-stopping! This was the day promised by God, whom I knew very little of. I thought that life was being living life to its FULLEST and party hard! And when you’re dead, YOU’RE DEAD and that’s that! Oh, how wrong was I...

Lust is what I worshipped; I would follow whatever it is that it tells me to; I would eat all that I see whether it was forbidden or allowed, whatever that was edible, I will be the first to eat; I would look for girls to satisfy my needs; I would drink and party until I was beat. I would crash smoke pot; I would laugh at those who worship God, I would mock behind them and boycott them so that they would look like s**t in front of everybody. I would make fun of the Holy Book (Al Qur’an) and the teachings of the Prophet.

Its all coming back to me now! I remember a bunch of silly looking Moslems praying night and day coming up to me saying that I should change my habits! I mean, who were they to tell me what to do? I do whatever hell I wanna do! That’s what I thought then. I didn’t even receive them in a polite way. I treated them as if they were some kind of scumbag or worse, terrorist! I fear that they might have something hidden under their scarves but all they hid was a modest heart. I was not moving anywhere. I stood there feeling idiotic, regretful, and overly hopeless. I wish I could go back and mend my ways. I promise!!!

Dear God, I will be your utmost obedient servant; I will do what I can to change EVERYTHING; I will pray until my body bruised; I will treat others kind; I will give money to the poor; I will join those who bow to you; I will not “swear” I SWEAR!; I will not love my girlfriend/wife/family/friends more than I love You and Your Messenger. But its all too late for that now. I was at the point of breaking down. Where His words were recited to me, I act as if I was not listening, when I see His many wonderful creations, I act as if I was blind and when the truth spoke out, I stuck a finger in my ears. Where will this day end I ask myself?

All I can do now is cry, cry for an infinite time. I cried so many times before, I cried when someone took my girlfriend away from me; I cried when I failed my test; I cried when I didn’t get that job I wanted so bad; I cried when Manchester United lost to Chelsea in 2007 in the finals. And the worse thing was, I cried when I spilled alcohol on my favorite jeans. I was a cry baby. A baby who had grown into a normal man with perfect hearing/sight/mind who never cared so much about the day of Resurrection; I blame my friends, friend whom I thought would help me forever. I really didn’t think that this day would come. I would go to “social gatherings”, I would spend time with my friends talking about things which were not beneficial. It was fun though, I thought. It was fun to know that I was known by a lot of people. They would say hi to me and ask me if I wanted to go join them for tea. Yep, I was a hit during my time. Everyone would try to talk to me whenever they can. It was the life anyone would envy...

"The terrible calamity! What is the terrible calamity! And what will make you comprehend what the terrible calamity is? The day on which men shall be as scattered moths, And the mountains shall be as loosened wool. Then as for him whose measure of good deeds is heavy, He shall live a pleasant life. And as for him whose measure of good deeds is light, His abode shall be the abyss. And what will make you know what it is? A burning fire." [Al-Qari’ah:1-11]

The way you live is the way you die

In the name of Allah, The Most Gracious (Ar-Rahman), The Most Merciful (Ar-Rahim)

This expression is taken from a song I used to listen to and I had thought about this phrase for many times and wondered what it meant. After reading plenty of books and articles, I have now able to define what it means, at least I think so. Alhamdulillah.

Have you ever seen people died over drug or died while playing soccer or died doing what they do? Do you know the Australian "Crocodile Hunter" Steve Irwin? He was killed by a deadly stingray. I heard that he had his ways to nature and this is true, in fact, he had had close shaves before the final run. The bottom line is, he died doing what he did best. A drug addict will probably die from taking too much drug; a stunt actor/rider/driver would probably die from doing a dangerous breath-taking event. I have just googled “stunt dies” in the search box and found this

A motorbike stunt rider has died after crash-landing while trying to jump between two ramps at a festival at Exmouth in Western Australia”. [www.news.com.au]

As a faithful servant of The Al-Mighty, we pray and hope to die peacefully [husnul-khotimah] . And then probably, you might ask? What the point? You see, death is the first step towards meeting Allah and if a person died having said shahadah (Laa Ilaa Ha Illallah), the perhaps, that person, InsyaAllah, will meet His Creator in once piece and vice versa. But we are warned not to judge people, not to say the things we do not have knowledge of. That kinda reminds of someone who likes talking about bad things (even if it is true) of that person is called "ghibah" or slander. It is strongly forbidden in Islam. Ghibah or slander is mentioned many times in the Qur'an:

'O ye who believe! let not some men among you laugh at others: it may be that the (latter) are better than the (former): nor let some women laugh at others: it may be that the (latter) are better than the (former): nor defame nor be sarcastic to each other, nor call each other by (offensive) nicknames: ill-seeming is a name connoting wickedness, (to be used of one) after he has believed: and those who do not desist are (indeed) doing wrong. [Surah al-Hujurat:11]

Now, I know for a fact that women are more inclined to gossiping but NOW, men are also slowly 'descending' to that part of the hill. But both sexes should even start slander in the first place as it will and has proven in history that it can only bring disorder in the community. The theory is that people have the tendency to exaggerate one matter because otherwise, it would NOT be spicy enough for people to hear. Let's experiment...

A says to B, "Hey! I heard a house lizard fell into the pond.."
B says to C, "Hey! I heard a lizard fell into the pond.."
C says to D, "Hey! I heard a baby croc fell into the pond.."
D says to E, "Hey! I heard a croc fell into the pond.." I hope you see where this is going because you DONT WANNA KNOW what Y said to Z.

So, the point is yes, it IS fun to exaggerate but if you're talking about someone, then its best if you just leave them alone. I hear that there are instances where slander can be a good deed. You can tell your friend that a person is a thief or a rapist and so on so that people are extra catious when he or she is around that person.

Up to this point you may think that I have gone beyond the main heading and yes! You are right but its not entirely out of the point. You see when you like gossiping, on the phone, at work, while taking a shower (I don't know if thats possible), and so on and so forth, you will probably, insyaAllah, die that way i.e. while you mouth is running. I actually had the intent to quote one of The Prophet's hadith about how a person's habit will be 'part' with him but I can't seem to find it anywhere. May Allah forgive us for all of our sins and wrong-doings.

Please don't cry (Part 1)

Nooooooo!! This isn't happening, this isn't real! I think I'm having a bad dream. Everyone was pale and in a state of despair except for few. SHOCKING! Rearranged faces filled the arena but there were some stars who were shining, actual stars, not those you see on TV, they were alive and awesomely out of this world. Where is world by the way? How come I can't recall any memories? Was it something that I had missed? Was I away from a long holiday? Who am I talking to? Am I blind? Have I lost it?

Trying to figure out what was happening, I looked around and saw that everyone was nude, not a stitch of clothing on anyone, if this was real... I would jump on everyone! Females only though but why am I not making my 'moves'. Something just isn’t right. This is insane! Is this the The Awakening? I thought it was not real. Where are my loyal 'friends'? Where are they when I needed help? Were they laughing with me or laughing AT me? Surely, they did not lie to me? I thought we were friends. Whatever happened to the term “Friends Forever”? Weren’t friends supposed to help one another out, you just don't ditch 'em! Have they?

Not a person here I recognized, I think I'm on planet mars, I think they finally did it. Finally landed and managed to take us and place us here, I thought. But how come the majority of people here seemed to be in great horror and almost looked like they as if they were bloodless? They (proper authority) should have at least place a camp or a bottle of water to forget the heat. I mean it is almost as if the sun was over my head. I dare not to look up.

This reminded me of that movie they made. That was great! I had fun. This is all too surreal. Out of nowhere, I was grabbed by my arms and yelled in agony. I was trembling fast. What is this creature? Nothing that I have seen before...The pain was real, I felt like I was walking on my face[1]. Logically speaking, that did not even sound possible, but why am I like this? Like what? Like this! Was it something I said? Was it something I did? The ride had stopped. What now? I ask myself. NOBODY seems to care less about me, am I that self-centered, was I selfish, was I not kind to others? Now that I think about it, I think its the beers I drank that is making me like this...ah...the “joy” it brings! Nothing like it! But hang on, why am I still standing on my head while my feet are in the air. My thought was abrupted by a loud voice. There was total silence...

A mysterious voice suddenly yelled! “Find the place for assembly!” We started walking slowly...After a long sluggish walk we halted. Suddenly we saw a man whom I do not recognize and prayer for peace were expressed to him by us. And suddenly after that, everyone started to cry. They are those who burdened themselves with sins. Interrupted shocked and scared, we were then led by this man to face Him....

[1] Anas b. Malik reported that a person said: Allah's Messenger, how the non-believers would be made to assemble on the Day of Resurrection (by crawling) on their faces? Thereupon he said: Is He Who is powerfnl to make them walk on their feet is not powerful enough to make them (crawl) upon their faces on the Day of Resurrection? Qatada said: Of conrse, it is so. (He adjured): By the might of our Lord. [Book 39, 6737]

One of the sign of Doomsday (Qiamat)->Time Flies

All Praises All due to Allah, The Loving and The All-Forgiving

Time is something money can buy. Something we can see nor touch but often talk about. The real truth about time in only in the knowledge of Allah, The Watchful. As servants of Allah, we are supposedly to spend our time with righteous deeds and any matters that brings us closer to Him. Whatever we say or do can be good deeds because just as long as our intention for Allah, not for anything else.

Allah said in the Qur'an:

On that Day will men proceed in companies sorted out, to be shown the Deeds that they (had done). Then shall anyone who has done an atom's weight of good, see it! And anyone who has done an atom's weight of evil, shall see it. [Al-Zalzalah: 6-8]

If anyone helps others for the sake of Allah, he will be rewarded now or afterwards, InsyaAllah. Simple really, but funny how only some come to realize this. One of the signs of Doomsday (Qiamat) is when time passes quickly and the rest speaks for itself as prophesied by our beloved Prophet Muhammad saw:
  • Camels will no longer be used as a means of transport;
  • People will ride on saddles that aren't saddles (cars?)
  • The distance on earth will become short;
  • Horses will not be used in wars;
  • Muslims will defeat the Byzantines which will end with the conquest of Constantinople Istanbul);
  • The Jews will gather again to live in Bilad Canaan; '
  • Very tall buildings will be built;
  • The disappearance of knowledge and the appearance of ignorance, with much killing;
  • Adultery will become widespread, and the drinking of wine will become common;
  • The number of men will decrease and the number of women will increase until there are 50 women to be looked after by one man.
  • Islam will become worn out like clothes are, until no one will Êknow what fasting, prayer, charity and rituals are;
  • Allah will send a disease to fornicators that will have no cure (Aids?);
  • People will begin to believe in the stars and reject AL QADAR (THE DIVINE DECREE OF DESTINY);
  • Men will pass by people's graves and say: "Would that I were in his place"; (large amount of sucidal deaths?)
  • The Euphrates will uncover a mountain of gold for which people will fight over (the river of Alfurat that lies near Syria);
  • Two large groups of people will fight one another, and there will be many casualties; they will both be following the same religion World War II?);
  • Approximately 30 DAJJALS will appear, each one claiming to be the Messenger of ALLAH;
  • Earthquakes will increase;
  • Time will pass quickly;
  • Afflictions will appear;
  • Killing will increase;
  • Wealth will increase;
  • Women will be wearing clothes but not wearing clothes
  • THE PROPHET (saw) SAID: "IF MY UMMAH BEARS 15 TRAITS (QUALITIES),TRIBULATION WILL FOLLOW IT." (DAY OF JUDGEMENT) SOMEONE ASKED, "WHAT ARE THEY O MESSENGER OF ALLAH?" HE (saw) SAID:
    When any gain is shared out only among the rich, with no benefit to the poor;
  • When a trust becomes a means of making profit;
  • When paying ZAKKAT becomes a burden;
  • When voices are raised in the Masjid;
  • When the leader of a people is the worst of them; When people treat a man with respect because what he may do;
  • When much wine is drunk; red wind or the earth swallow them, or to be transformed into animals."
  • 'IMRAN IBN HUSAYN SAID: "THE PROPHET (AS) SAID, 'SOME PEOPLE OF THIS UMMAH WILL BE SWALLOWED BY THE EARTH, TRANSFORMED INTO ANIMALS, AND SOME WILL BE BOMBARDED WITH STONES'. ONE OF THE MUSLIMS ASKED, WHEN WILL THAT BE O MESSENGER Of ALLAH?' HE SAID, 'WHEN SINGERS AND MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS WILL BECOME POPULAR, AND MUCH WINE IS DRUNK.' " THE GREATER SIGNS OF THE HOUR The Quran will disappear in one night, even from the people's hearts, and no Ayyah will be left on earth. (Some groups of old people will be left who will say: "We heard of fathers' saying "LAILLAHA ILLA ALLAH" so we repeat it);
  • The appearance of the MAHDI;
  • The appearance of the DAJJAL (Anti Christ);
  • The appearance of Ya'juj and Ma'juj(biblical Gog and Magog);
  • Isa (Jesus) will come during the time of Dajjal;
  • The rising of the sun from the west;
  • The destruction of the Ka'ba and the recovery of its treasures; '
  • The smoke. [Thanks to http://youthemerged.com]

Many many years ago, I once heard that time moved so fast that 1 year felt like a month, a month felt like 1 week and a week only felt like a day (24 hours). If you slower you ability to scroll fast and "X" the explorer bar, you will notice that most of the things mentioned in the list above is already happening. It would be sad really (really sad) to see the day when its already too late for us to think and ponder. What you can do now is change, change for Allah's sake, not for anyone, not for anything, do it for you. Do yourself a favor and treat yourself with sleepless nights worrying how you will end. As for me, I can only see and I can only help by the means the necessary to get the message across. Remember Allah is Great, There is no God but Allah and Muhammad is His Messenger.

When Qiamat comes it will certainly have that element of complete surprise. The Quran says: “They (the unbelievers) say “when will this promise (of doomsday) be fulfilled, if it is true? They don’t know that they are waiting to hear just one shrill shout which will take them by surprise while they will be disputing about worldly affairs.” [Yasin: 48-49]

May Allah Bless us all.

Ciri2 orang munafik sejati

1. Dusta

Hadith Rasulullah yang diriwayatkan Imam Ahmad Musnad dengan sanad Jayid: "Celaka baginya, celaka baginya, celaka baginya. Iaitu SESEORANG YANG BERDUSTA AGAR ORANG2 TERTAWA."

2. Khianat

sabda Rasulullah SAW: "Dan apabila berjanji, dia berkhianat."

3. Fujur dalam pertikaian

sabda Rasulullah SAW:
"Dan apabila bertengkar (bertikai), dia melampau"

4. Ingkar Janji

sabda Rasulullah SAW:
"Tanda orang munafik ada 3: jika berbicara dia dusta, jika berjanji dia ingkar, dan jika dipercaya (diberi amanat) dia berkhianat." (HR. Bukhari Muslim)

5. Malas Beribadah

Firman Allah SWT:

Hadith Nabi SAW:
"Itulah solat orang munafik...lalu mempercepat empat rakaat (solatnya)"

Firman Allah SWT:
"...Katakanlah: 'Apakah dengan Allah SWT, Ayat-Ayat-Nya, dan Rasul-Nya kamu selalu berolok-olok?' Tidak usah kamu minta maaf, kerana kamu kafir sesudah beriman..."
(At-Taubah: 65-66)

11. Bersumpah Palsu

Firman Allah SWT:
"Mereka menjadikan sumpah-sumpah mereka sebagai perisai..."
(Al-Munafiqun: 2, Al-Mujadilah: 16)

12. Enggan Berinfak

14. Suka menyebarkan Khabar Dusta
