Sincerity Rock Bottom
Our behavior whether it is positive or negative can sometimes be easily judged and although we will never find out why certain people do certain things, it is important that for us to analyze our behavior towards men or women, animals and our surroundings so that we can slowly rectify and correct our purpose of accomplishing something.
As mentioned, most of us often judge a book by its title, and not its cover. The cover alone would not really give you an idea what the content of the book is. For example, we could be searching a book about motivation and once the word “Motivation…” is sighted, we could be banging our head against the wall soon after, after finding out the book that was bought was to motivate its readers to be a homo for example, to pursue whatever you please AT ALL COSTS!
The above example illustrates just how important it is for each and every one of us to avoid jumping into conclusion when witnessing incidents outside the normal circle. Unfortunately for some of us, we have the tendency to quick finger pointing at someone especially if something is at fault or if something did not go well as planned. Weird when we can easily see a tiny black dot being surrounded by a bigger white circle. Are seeds of adam supposed to operate that way?
Yes and no. The answer lies within us. We try our best to operate in a way which pleases Allah the most. Period! Sadly, most of us sometimes forget to that once the pen has been lifted, there is no way we can change what has happened. We then start to blame one another for a little tiny mistake which is not only time consuming but also would not really make much difference. When no one is around, there’s only one left to be blamed and we all know who He is. Is this fair?
Why did this happen? Why didn’t you do that? Why didn’t you do this instead? Why two not five? These are the typical questions a normal person would usually ask. When all is said and when all is done, there only one we should rely on and that is Allah. As humans, we can only stretch our hands so far and belittling should not even cross our mind. Maybe, we need to be more sincere in carrying out our duties be it study, work, house chores, activities or any kind of good deeds.
Getting things done for the right cause can be done but that 100% sincerity can easily go down if we are easily distracted with the magnificent creation of Allah. That’s when satan sweeps in. Satan will lure us until our sincerity hits rock bottom. The trick is to be focused and keep in mind that every word, every action and every good intention is for Allah’s sake. We want to make sure that our good intention does not clash with any evil intention. Even a little bit. Zilch!
So, we should do things for the right reasons and not for the left reasons as taught in Islam. Left reasons are regrettably more deadly than a cancer that ruins our body organ because if you’re in it for the left reasons, you could very well be fuel that burns sorry souls.

O Allah…
Give us strength to carry on…
Until there’s only one anthem
To be heard across the nation
