All Praises only to Allah

All Glory & Praises due To Allah.

With Allah’s kind blessings we are able to do things; we walk, we speak, we hear, we breath and the list continues on

And if you would count the graces of Allah, never could you be able to count them. Truly! Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. (An-Nahl – 18)

His mystical ways have never been so profound and His Great Divine Power can never be leveled with others. He created roof for the intense heat and soil for us to live so that we can scour this land in search of wealth and temporary happiness.

We are here for one purpose only and that is to serve Him and please Him as much as we can. This act of preparedness will be known when our time is up and when we stand before Him; hell or heaven. Once we realized how pathetic we are in the Eyes of Allah, the sooner we mend and change out ways. In the Qur’an, Allah once said that...

“Then I will come to them from before them and behind them, from their right and from their left and You will not find most of them as thankful ones (i.e. they will not bedutiful to You).” (Al-Araf – 17)

Allah is the sole provider of everything, Allah does NOT need us, in fact, and we are the ones who needs Him. He stands Alone, He does not require assistance from anyone of any kind. One of the ways that will help us to show our appreciation is by praying to Him. This is difficult for hypocrites but easy for the true believers. Time plays an important role as there’s not a day that passed by that Earth would say to humans (something like)..

“....Do good as much as you can as I fear that what you have seen today can only be seen during judgment day and do good as much as you can as I would fear that today could be your last.”

Be punctual when you pray
Don’t let anyone or anything be in your way
when it’s time for pray..
Its time to pray

This is quite difficult for most of us as we have often being neglected with work, friends, family and all that are predetermined. This has been reminded by Allah in the Qur’an.

“..and be not of those who are neglectful” (Al-‘Araf – 206)

Furthermore, one of the pillars of Islam is praying 5 times a day. The Prophet once said that if you take a shower 5 times daily, imagine how clean a person will be, that is the same with praying 5 times a day. Your body and soul will always be “clean” meaning we are far from sins but one can never guarantee if he or she is “sinless”. If our mind is clear, then, everything should falls in a rightly manner. God’s Willing.

Unfortunately, praying does not come easy as it requires attentive devotion to the Al-Mighty. A lot of Moslems pray but what they gain from praying is only tiredness. This is due to the lack of knowledge that person possess. A simple demonstration of what praying is like would be sitting for your exam, if your unprepared, then you will probably fail. On the other hand, if you’re prepared, then perhaps, you will pass your test. Nobody knows if their prayers have been lifted, nobody knows if he will wake up dead one day. But Allah does! Before we pray, we need to make ourselves ready in terms of what we will say and do. It has been found by out that in order for a person to have full concentration during his/her prayer is by understanding what he/she is saying during the prayer. If you are at a debate hall and it is your turn to speak, you need to know what you are going to say and be clear when you say it because otherwise your opponents and audience will not understand you.

The same is required when praying, when you say Bismillahirrahmanirrahim (In the name of Allah, The Most Beneficent, The Most Merciful), you have to know what you are saying because otherwise you will be like praying drunk (hypothetically speaking). If a person was drunk, he or she would not know what he or she is saying and doing. That is why Allah has clearly stated in the Qur’an that only pray when you are sober.

“O you who believe! Approach not AsSalat (the prayer) when you are in a drunken state until you know (the meaning) of what you utter...” (An-Nisa – 43)

May Allah forgive us all for our weaknesses and protect us from all evils.
