Continous Improvements

In The name of Allah, The Most Gracious, The Most Merciful.

Everyone has goals and dreams. Aim to be discovered by the whole world from the use of media electronics such as the internet to a more conservative platform such as newspapers, book & magazines. A perfectionist aims and claims to pursue perfection. Students aim to at least get onto the next level, a mere pass is enough. That is how everything naturally is and in fact, every single thing small or big carries purposes. The Al-Mighty and The Most Benevolent says in the Qur’an:

Does Man think that he will be left uncontrolled, (without purpose)?
[Al-Qimayat: 36]

We cannot get away from Him as He is The All Seeing (Al-Basir). Remember that Allah is closer than one thinks. So, our purpose is clear, we are here only to serve Him through obedience, avoiding disobedience, and striving to stay away from doubtful matters (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Taqwa). We are not to be selective in practicing this beautiful religion. Moslems are not to “choose” to wear veil, Moslems are not to choose to cover ourselves up (men and women), we are not to choose not to pray 5 times daily (and only pray during Friday) and amongst many obligatory duties. As a Moslem, we must (wajib) follow what has been consented to us. Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) had taught us so many lessons for us to adapt in our journey. The question you should ask ourselves now is...are we willing? And remember beggars (we are) can’t be choosers. If you can honestly say yes then InsyaAllah (God’s willing), He will guide you through.

O ye who believe! If ye will aid (the cause of) Allah, He will aid you, and plant your feet firmly. [Muhammad: 7]

Allah will only help those who help themselves. Nobody can help you to become a better person but yourself. Nobody can guide you when you are left alone in the dark but Allah, He is the best of The Protector (Al-Muhaymin)

...So establish regular Prayer, give regular Charity, and hold fast to Allah! He is your Protector, the best to protect and the Best to help!” [Al-Hajj: 22]

When will you change your ways, your habits, and your laze? Allah is The All Forgiving (Al-Ghafur) and He will not look at how well you dress, He will not look at how much money you have, He will not look at the color of your skin but He will only look at how sincere is your heart.

Our Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, once said: "There is a piece of meat in the human body. If this is good, all the organs will be good. If this is evil, all the organs will be evil. This piece of meat is the heart." (from http://www.hizmetbooks.org/Ethics_of_Islam/e1-2.html)

Its now, NOW is the right time to change, improve and rise as what you see before you will vanish in split seconds. If you are waiting to “better” yourself when you reach 30 or 40, then probably, what you do now will become your habit and once it’s a habit, it is something you can get rid off. Just like smoking, when a person is a heavy smoker, and decided to stop one day, you can’t possibly do it as tobacco has become “fond” of you. Why wait when you can’t change today? Allah has been all too nice to us all, why can’t we be thankful now?

Let there arise out of you a band of people inviting to all that is good, enjoining what is right, and forbidding what is wrong: they are the ones to attain felicity. [Al-Imran: 104]
