Lari Lari Lari

bersambung insya Allah

ALLAH comes FIRST

In the name of Allah, The Most Merciful, The Most Benevolent. He has the power to destroy anything and everything with His Overpowering Might. His Blessings are far way greater than His anger. We all will be returned. We all will be questioned and not one can escape from His court. Each and every individual are advised to beg for His forgiveness and His mercy during daylight and especially when everyone else sleeps at night. He sees everything that humans don’t see, He knows what creeps behind us and He knows what we will be colliding with. He knows what we had done in the past and in the future. He has knowledge of everything. Even to the tiniest drop of a morning dew.

There is nothing in this world that can match His Supremacy. He had given humans countless chances to return to the right path so that humans can save themselves from hellfire. There is nothing more eerie than being thrown into the depths of hell. Laugh while you can. We try as much as we can to avoid from having more bad than good when we 'leave'. No matter how much we pray, no matter how much we beg and no matter how times we cry, there just never seemed enough to level what Allah had given to us. Let alone, to repay back what our parents had given. But does not mean we just loose hope? No. All we can do is to try as much as we can, to do the best as we can and to give the best as we can to Allah. We do everything just for Him, not for a man nor a woman, not a status nor for the fame and not for money nor for the land. Allah is our main objective and He is our main Target. If we are to aim for something other than Him, then, every tears, efforts and pains will deemed to be useless. Allah only accepts what is pure (sincere).

We should question out intentions to everything. For example, why do we work? Why to we study? Why do we get married? Why do we cook? Why do we pray? And most importantly, why we are here? It was mentioned in the Qur’an that humans and jinns are created only to prostate to Allah. From here we can understand and the underlying basis of life is actually to obey what is the Qur’an and Prophet Muhammad’s sayings and make it practical. Actions do speak louder than words. Because there are many things that we want but difficult to get. Some of us may want big houses, big cars, attractive partners and a successful life, but the truth that matters is that, things we want are often tested by Allah. Our beloved Prophet Muhammad 's quest to spread Islam had many hardships. He had to deal with so many problems before Islam was known all over the globe.

We all have to fall if we were to gain and we have to stay strong if we want to obtain. So, is persistence the key? Its all dependent to what it is one is trying to achieve. The companions of Prophet Muhammad and himself sacrificed wealth, time & money just so they can get closer to Allah. They starved, they spend for Allah's cause, they had countless sleepless nights and so on. They physically exhaust themselves to get Allah's blessings. They loved Allah more than they loved themselves and they loved others as if they were their own. They were strict in every attitude and every action. They were harshly wise to those who are disobedient but very kind to those who obeyed Allah. Its a very rare scenery this days, to see someone who would actually give up their worldly possessions for Allah. Its mostly all about the money now. All about getting the piece of the action and all about being known. Some even had the guts to say that what has been brought down to Prophet Muhammad (Qur'an) was not even practical especially the rules of Allah. To get attention? Maybe..

Allah, He knows best for humans. Humans!? What do we know? We know how to eat, sleep and watch football matches early in the morning. Undeniably true. The majority of humans will never represent the minority. It was mentioned in the Qur'an that majority of humans are ungrateful. Now, which category do we feel we fall into? Perhaps, the minority mentioned in the Qur'an are those who stay true to themselves no matter what happens. They are those who prays with a broken knee and bows when everything was falling apart. They are those who spend most of their time remembering Allah and avoid unnecessary conversations. These people will do what they can do please Allah, they would leave what is haram. They would dislike matters which are disliked by Allah and the Prophet. May Allah protect those who tried/tries to protect His religion and may Allah reward them with the best gifts here and after.

Patience is perhaps the key to all of this both on earth and hereafter. Just like an eagle eyeing its prey well above the ground, waiting patiently for its prey to slip-up. That is when the eagle strikes with its deadly claws. It may take hours, days or even weeks when it can finally take a bite. Humans need to conquer its lust because if its not trained and fed properly, it might the primary cause of our sad demise. Patience and lusts are two things which we can be friends with or which can also be our enemy. Because if you were the kind who snaps uncontrollably over a tiny matter, then, most probably, you have no control over your own body, mind and soul. Let alone lusts. Satan will take charge of those who has a raging temper. When one of the companions of The Apostle asked for an advice, he then said to the companion NOT to get angry 3 times. From here, we can insya Allah conclude that, being angry at something other than to uphold the values of Islam should be avoided.

Every muslim should have the attitude of being angry when Islam is being scorned or somebody is making fun of our beloved Muhammad or anything related to that matter and NOt being angry at something like jumped the queue or somebody stole our food we left in the fridge and so on. Again, these things aren't easy to achieve as it will take time to patch up the past mistakes and clear the air that has been polluted. Avoid food which are shubahah (not sure if its halal or haram), avoid things which are forbidden to WATCH, HEAR & TOUCH because every action will always have its consequence. Its only a matter of time until we know the real truth of every thing.

With time, with tiny baby steps and minor positive changes, insya Allah, each and everyone of us will be able to control our anger, control our emotions and control our words and desires so our thoughts and actions are always directed to please Allah, always.

For each (such person) there are (angels) in succession. Before and behind him: they guard him by command of Allah. Verily never will Allah change the condition of a people until they change it themselves (with their own souls). But when (once) Allah willeth a people's punishment, there can be no turning it back, nor will they find, besides Him, any to protect. [Ar-Ra'd: 11]

Shocker

[Warning: This article is especially for people who thinks LIFE ON EARTH IS EVERYTHING. This is the general overview of how everything is at the moment and inspired from sights and sounds of Asian countries. It is never intended to attack anyone personally. It is just to awaken those who are dead (inside) and those never cared less about Islam]

In the name of Allah, The Most Gracious, The Most Benevolent. There is no God but Allah and Muhammad is His final messenger. Humans and jinns are created by Allah only to serve The All-Mighty and every single inhabitant will return to Him one day. Each will be asked what he did on earth and one will either enter paradise or suffer the long torment for eternity. Those who are patience will be rewarded and those who are hasty and earned Allah's anger will shed bloody tears for the rest of his life not on earth but after his good and bad had been weighed.

Allah is The Reign Supremacy and one should only fear Him. He holds the key to our fate and He will never do humans injustice but humans, they caused the unjust. He is The Most Fairest and All His promises are more real than death. If it wasn't for the predetermined time for our demise, He would already have ruined this earth, just like those people who had lived in the past. They asked the believers that if Allah was true, bring on the disaster to them and so, Allah did. So foolish what they have asked for and so useless what they have become. True believers learn valuable lesson through the contents of the Qur'an and they saying of beloved Prophet Muhammad and they are far from doubt of its contents. They offer Salat with all solemnity and full submissiveness; they are those who pay the Zakat and they are those who guard their chastity (i.e. private parts from illegal sexual acts).

Allah does not like transgressors. Those who spends more than what they can afford. Purchase things which are unnecessary and spend lavishly without giving to the poor, those who are needy, those who are disable and especially those who who spare their life in the name of Allah. Muslims are to treat their fellow brothers and sisters with love & respect and treat those who are against Allah with harshness. Nevertheless, Allah likes those who are fair irrespective of religion, race, status & background because Islam is all about treating giving each individuals the rights they deserve. We are not to ask for things which are beyond our skill and control. We are recommended by Prophet Muhammad to pursue knowledge regardless of age and status.

Those who performs good deeds WITH KNOWLEDGE is much MUCH better than those who performs good deeds WITHOUT KNOWLEDGE. Humans would generally follow and unfortunately majority of humans do not know what is the point of praying five times a day, why we are encouraged to do alms giving, why we are asked to perform hajj and umrah and why we are asked to go the friday prayer once a week (for men). There are plenty of things which muslims often take granted for and they are those who preferred to be labeled as the herd and not the shepherd. In fact, humans are like sitting ducks. They will wait until someone takes an aim at them.

Those who have admitted that there is no God but Allah and Muhammad is his servant and His final messenger has a role to play. We are to tell those who are around us to do good and avoid/stop what is wrong. If we just let things be, Islam will be ruined. Nau'dzubillah. Ask yourself this question? Are you a follower? Or are you the mover/shaker? It is very important for each muslims to know what their roles and responsibilities are as a muslim. Being a muslim is not just about praying 5 times a day but it goes way beyond that circle. Besides doing what is fardhu (wajib), one needs to do do what our The Prophet had done during his time and NOT doing what the non-believers had done!

Subhanallah. The world is getting older as we speak. More and more muslims are turning against their own religion. Say what? There is a crystal clear method to differentiate who is WITH Allah and those who are against Him. Those who are with Allah will do what He asked us and avoid what is haram (foridden). Obviously, those who are against Allah will not follow the rules & regulations of Islam. These so-called muslims would rather follow the ways of non-believers; jews and christians. How so? Examples are breathless. One would rather fill up the cinema instead of the Houses of Allah. Most muslims would rather purchase songs sung by non-muslims pop singers. To mention their names would be plain useless. Why not as muslims, we try to support the nasyeed industry from all over the continent. Songs which are created and sang to remember Allah, songs which are written to make us aware of the efforts of our beloved Prophet Muhammad, songs which are directed to make our heart shaken by the glory of ALLAH!!

Not only that, everything that we wear, everything that we use & everything that we consume, if it is not made by and cooked by muslims, then you are just the same. Think about it. In Islam, you are categorized into two; whether you support Islam or you don't. There are perhaps three types of people in this world and they are as listed below:

1) Muslims by name/action
2) Muslims by name ONLY
3) Non-muslims

A muslim who falls into zone one would be those who knows how to give a clear cut between what is halal (allowed) and what is haram (forbidden). And he would avoid what is shubahah i.e. things which falls into the grey area. This type of muslim would try as much as he can to follow the guidelines of Islam. They are those who are kind to their mothers, fathers, siblings and so on. They give charity to the poor, they are kind to animals, they don't consume alcoholic drink, they give salam to fellow muslims when applicable and they don't cause harm to themselves (smoking, consuming haram food or drinks, etc) and to others. Insya Allah.

Muslims which are "trapped" into the 2nd category would be those who sometimes "feel like" being muslims and sometimes don't. Like how? The month of Ramadhan is just around the corner and when the month comes, he would go the mosques, sawm (fast), read the Qur'an and so on and so forth. But when Ramadhan ends. He goes back to his old habits. This people can also be called "seasonal muslims". Just like the time of summer, spring, winter & autumn. These type of people would take easy on things. These are muslims with the least functional mind that would happily go to a non-muslim restaurant with a label "HALAL" on the front entrance door. These are those people who would love to spend their time on saturday nights by watching a movie with the "love" one and having a candle lit dinner. Spend birthday bashes at McDonalds and such.

Perhaps, the last zone would be self-explanatory and we all know who are non-believers. They are all out to wipe Islam on the face of this earth and they are befriends of satan which we all know is muslims biggest enemy. It was mentioned either from the Qur'an or sayings of the Prophet that a muslim who acts like a non-believer are more worse than an authentic non-believer (kafeer). The behaviors or actions of non-believers are obvious and they are free to do what they like because they do not believe that Allah is the only God and because the Qur'an and hadeeth are meant for muslims, each and every muslim needs to study and based their actions from both sources. Simple really. You read, learn and make it practical.

The picture of Islam is now scattered and it looks as if the future of Islam is going bleak. We need muslims who are pioneers in every field there is to grasp. We need to start thinking far ahead. Muslims need to think about how to improve themselves and how to be the best amongst the best. We need cars invented by muslims, we need bogus technologies developed by muslims and we need great thinkers to intensify the movements of muslims all over the world. Muslims should be supporting each and not fight against each other. Muslims are to support the products and services offered by muslims and NOT!! by non-muslims. Why are supporting the growth of non-muslims when we muslims ourselves are barely hanging on to what we have.

Majority of muslims would rather spend their money on non-muslim's goods and services and THAT'S A FACT! Count how many products do we all have which are made from countries which ISLAM is not their official religion. In Islam, the term for muslims who assists directly or indirectly the economy of a non-muslim nation is called shubahah. These muslims will be thrown in the dungeons of hell without no mercy from Allah. It is important that we stay away or at least try find something that is made from muslim nations. Even to the person who cooks our order at a restaurant. This is extremely important because if a muslim eats something which is cooked by a non-muslim, he is practically eating haram food and if the son of adam grows from a source which is haram, hellfire is more deserving for him. This was mentioned by The Prophet Muhammad saw..

Some would argue by saying that we can just tawakkal. Meaning, depending on Allah. We need to understand this concept because if it is used loosely, Allah's wrath will come down to us like the pouring rain except, instead on water, there will be stones. Before we go and do something or decide for something, we need to investigate whether the chickens cooked are halal or the chef is a muslim or not or does the place serve alcoholic beverages? This is just an example. Are muslims actually dumb enough to actually believe that if the signboard "halal" is hanged outside a window or stamped on a food wrapper, it would mean that "all-systems-go"?

Our beloved Prophet Muhammad saw said that those who follow the ways/lifestyle/steps of non-believers (jews and christians) are not amongst us (muslims). We can see muslims following the steps of non-muslims everywhere. Just name it and they will be there in a jiffy! Prom nights! Birthday Parties! AF=American Idol! To mention the lists AGAIN would be useless as many of us would have already know these things. Disbelievers will be tormented in the most unimaginably degrading torment. List continues, Hi! Wearing rings on your THUMB/middle finger/pointy finger! Are Prada Bags made by muslims? I'm a fan or Arsenal! Valentine's Day! Cakes for birthdays! Hopefully, by now, readers get the gist of this article. May Allah better and improve the ways of muslims all over the world. Wallahu'alam.

"At-Tirmidhi narrated that Ibn Abbas (ra) reported that the Prophet (saw) said: "He is not one of us who imitates other than us. Do not imitate the jews or the christians." At-Tabarani and Abu Dawood narrated that Ibn Umar and Hudthayfah (ra) reported that the Prophet (saw) said: "Whoever imitates a people, he is one of them."

*The term "he" applies both for men and women

Life is a game

In the name of Allah, The Most Gracious, The Ever Forgiving. It was mentioned in the Qur'an that life is a game. Disbelievers see this world as it is but believers see this world as a journey. A journey which is filled with forwards, backwards, left and right turns. There is that need to plan your goals so that you would achieve them. Analysis needs to be carried out to determine which would give the best output on earth and hereafter. A person who just sits around and waits for a miracle to happen is simply irrationally absurd.

Effort and doa is important for muslims. Those who rarely raise their hands to beg & ask from Allah are those people who are known are arrogant and proud. They do not need Allah in their life, they do not need assistance from Allah. Ironically, when asked who created earth? They all say Allah! But so little do they remember Him. It is part of our duty as muslims to really begged for his mercy and ask for His forgiveness because humans are naturally weak and are susceptible to errors. Humans have been warned to not create ally for Allah because once you do, your days are over, literally. Allah is the sole provider of our rezki and He will only help those who are willing to help/improve themselves.

As muslims, we ask from Allah what we want and what we need. Its not all about earth really. Its actually about wanting what is best for us during hereafter. It was mentioned by many great muslims scholars that the more pleasure we get on earth, the LESS pleasure we will get on the next world. For example, we all know the bliss of drinking a cold icy water during a heat of summer or eating ice cream during a hot day. So, you will get less reward during hereafter since you have already taken it up here on earth. It was mentioned that our extremely miss beloved Prophet Muhammad preferred drinking water which is not too hot and not too cold, perhaps room temperature.

In conjunction with the earlier statement, a great care needs to be applaud to determine which directions are in our best interest, the best interest of our family and especially in the best interest of the All-Mighty. Allah mentioned in the Qur'an that nobody for certain knows what he will do tomorrow. We can only plan and it is up to Allah if he wishes to agree or disagree. This is actually part our iman, to accept that everything that is good or bad. What happened/will happen to us in the past, present and future are in the hands of our Lord. Each and everyone of us must learn to accept this fact because the sooner that we do, the better off we will be when confronting with other matters.

There are times when all contingency plan had been prepared and all the necessary precautions have been taken, our plan just didn't work. That is why it is vital for us to rely heavily on Allah because humans naturally rely on each other. Relying on Allah is by far the best option anyone could take. Birds are the best example of this. They would fly into the sky in search for food and in the end of the day, they would return with a full stomach. We are most of the time inconsistent and we are often take things so lightly up to the point where we take things for granted. Therefore, the plan we have must not have loopholes and must be perfect or at least close to perfect.

Unfortunately, it is quite difficult to determine whether we have device a plan well because maybe there are certain aspects we might overlooked. To create THE perfect plan needs detailed information. Some say its luck but hitting a hole-in-one is actually a well-thought out strategy which includes both the mind and our mental ability. If we see things well ahead, perhaps we can avoid certain things which we will be condemned for for the rest of our lives. This is called anticipation, we try to see ahead before anything happens and this is what table-tennis players have, they have a sharp imagery and will react in fraction of seconds. Not like fortune telling. Lies, lies & lies.

When building a house, the person needs to visualize how he wants his house to stand out physically and he will need to tell this information to the architect so that he can draw his thoughts in a piece of sheet. The same concept can be applied to plan ahead for our life here on earth and ESPECIALLY our plans to meet our Lord in the near undetermined time. Yes, there will be trial and error but the underlying idea of it is either to:

1) Learn from people's mistakes & avoid
2) Make own mistakes, learn & repeat
3) Make own mistake, learn, & avoid.

As well all know, the airplane had countless runs before it actually got off the ground. Countless crashes and deaths were reported before the wright brothers actually managed to create an object which had tail and wings. If we look closely, in order to perfect a certain invention, it will need to be tested before it can be sold. But for humans, we are only allowed to make mistakes at least once because death will only come once and death is inevitable. The worse kind of person would be the 2nd kind. For example, drug addicts, those who had been in and out of rehab center or those burglars who kept stealing monies, jeweleries or cars even though they have been in and out jails for many times. They just never learn from the mistakes they have made in the past. If its safe to say, the perfect or at least trying to be perfect person would be those who are in number 1 because they are fully aware that these negativities are out there and they try as much as they can to avoid these things knowing of the consequences they will bear here and after. Such as drinking alcohol, create ruins, backstabbing, stealing, having affairs and so on. This is just isn't the ways of how muslims should be. It just isn't. Never will be.

So, the way to do it is to have knowledge on certain things, educate ourselves with earthly things whether it be positive or negative things because knowledge is power and if we know certain things, we tend to think about it before we actually go ahead and decide to pursue it. A perfect example would be smoking. Almost everyone knows that smoking is not good for the health and is NOT the way of Islam. Meaning, smoking is a trendy trend created by Jews, Christians & Atheists to poison the minds of muslims. We all know that our Prophet Muhammad saw never smoked and we as his follower should follow his footsteps and not exacerbate his ways. It is actually the lack of knowledge why certain people for certain things and its the act of ignorance that caused the ummah to be stomped down in the society.

Muslims should be the most educated people on earth because we have The Qur'an and the sayings of The Apostle as our shining shield and armor. Non-muslims actually have none. Zilch. Nada. These people only revealed some of the truth in the Taurat, Zabur & Injil and hid MOST of the truth in these books. Most of the contents of the book before the The Qur'an were slaughtered by those who had made lusts and false desires as their God. BUT Allah mentioned in the Qur'an that this final book will be guaranteed protected by Allah until Resurrection Day. Wallahu'alam.

Wallahu'alam.

All I Want

I can't live without you
Nor I can pretend
to be without You
You are All I want

You were there for me
when I was weak
You picked me up
when I fell on my knees
You are All we want

So please, give me what I need
Forgiver of all our sins
Save me please
Don't let me go on like this

I seek for a full recovery
Far away from history
So rescue me
Don't let me be like this

I can't change the way I am
without Your consent
You are All I want

I need You more than ever
And I miss You Oh my Creator
You are All we want

So, guide me to the straight way,
Ways of those who You have blessed
Not those who have earned Your wrath
And those who have lost their ways

So, show me the right direction
That directs me to your presence
Not those who have earned Your wrath
And those who have lost their faith

Oh Lord
look where I am now
feeling almost giving up
But I won't. And we won't.

O You Grateful Slaves!

Allah, He is Our Creator. He is the source of all energy, He is The Mover of our spirit/mind/soul and our life is in His control. There is nothing above Him and we are dependent upon Him. He makes our life complete and without His Kindness, there won't be air, there won't be ground to walk on, there won't be rain and there won't be clouds hovering above our heads. We won't be live forever and we are all deemed to die one day. He does not need us but we are extremely in need of Him. Without Him, we all be useless, just like having a telephone without a line.

Nobody should be proud of his or her achievements or boast about how superior he or she is in front of everyone BECAUSE every single thing that we have here is given by Allah The All Giving. Those who have even the tiniest sentiment of proud will go to hell and WILL be tormented heavily and that's a guarantee! Humans are weak and often break down and cry BUT when Allah have given them what they wished for, they walk proud on this earth with their heads held up high and acted as if they never knew God. What is wrong with humans? Such ungrateful servants! We thank you Allah..

Life is something most people questioned about and non-muslims would come up with many "theories" about life. Some of them do not believe that God even exist and some would say that when we're dead, we're dead and there won't be any Q&A session. Unfortunately, there are also muslims who possess such ideas. They are mostly unsure of the content of the Qur'an and the sayings of our beloved Prophet Muhammad. They tend to ask a lot of questions about the correctness and the applicability of the contents of the two. Not only that they question about the truthfulness & in doubt of Islam but they also make a mockery of those who are actually practicing Islam. For those who does not know, life in fact IS about Islam.

A bird would fly in the early morning in search for food and would return back to its shelter with a full stomach. Who do you think helped that very bird? ALLAH. The world we live in has its on life and each second that passes by will never come back. The world is getting older each time one man makes ruin and every time we waste our time with the unnecessaries. The trick about living is to serve Allah, protect/know your rights and to know your limits. Allah dislikes those who are extreme. Islam is a religion of all that. Meaning, it is a perfect religion and it has no deficiencies. A person won't find any loopholes or an excuse so that he or she can be made as an exception for a certain obligatory duty as a muslim.

THE perfect example would be the daily worshiping (5 times a day). Some of us might think that Allah will let a sick man lying on his bed, a person who has no legs or without no arms, even to the worse case scenario, an old man without the strength to carry on are excluded from performing the daily prayer. Well, the truth that matters is, just as long as a person fulfilled the necessary conditions to perform salat, he or she is compelled to do so. The requirements for performing salat are as follows:

1) Islam (not for polytheists and the such)
2) Sane and Responsible
3) Reaching age of maturity [must be of age (puberty)]
4) Ritual Purity from major and minor Impurities
5) Body, garment and place of salat are clean from all impurities
5) Covering of the aurah
6) Knowledge that time has begun
7) Facing Qiblah (Kaa'bah)
8) Knowledge of rukn (pillar) and sunnah (recommended/optional)
9) Intention (niat)

For those who have met the conditions above MUST perform salat. In Islam, if a person is unable to perform salat standing, you are allowed to perform salat sitting. This is perhaps due to those who cannot bend their legs properly or suffered from a broken joint and generally physically unable. So, one would either sit on a chair or sit on the floor while performing salat. (This is also suitable for those who are following long haul journeys/flights). If a person is unable to stand or sit when performing salat, then he or she is allowed to perform salat laying and if he or she is still unable, he or she can pray by signaling using his or her head or the movement of the eye. If all of the mentioned still cannot be done by a person, he or she can perform salat by using one's heart just as long as the person's body and soul are still intact.

So, no matter what condition you are in, muslims are obligated to worship Allah even up to the point where when a muslim dies, the people attending the ceremony must perform salah al janazah for the deceased. This is to show to humans muslims and non-muslims how important actually is in the eyes of Allah The All Seer. Our beloved Prophet Muhammad s.a.w. uttered the word "salat" three times before his demise. Muslims need to understand how important it is to take care of salat in all circumstances because without performing a proper salat, we are doomed in the depths of hell. There are countless verses signifying the importance of salat in the Qur'an as well as respecting our mother and father.

Humans are forever in debt with their mother and no matter how much we think we have done for our mother, it will NEVER be enough. She cannot even begin to describe to pain she endured when delivering us into this world. A person who treats their mother in utmost special way will be loved by Allah because, if a mother is happy with her child, then, there will be no boundaries between him/her and God. What makes our mother happy will make Allah loves us more. In fact, the feeling of our mother towards us will reflect how we will be in the sight of Allah. If a son or daughter was to treat his/her mother with crudeness and such disrespect, then, it will be all over for him/her especially during Judgement Day.

During the days of The Prophet, there was a dying man who was confronted with death and was asked to say "shahadah" by those who were present. This dying man was a pious man; he prayed at the mosque; did almsgiving; did good deeds; performed sawn and avoided what was sinful/forbidden. The man was basically a very obedient muslim. Everyone started to wonder why he was unable to say "shadahah". One of them decided to go to the Prophet to ask for his help. Rasulullah then went to this man's house and asked him if he was in good terms with his mother. The man then said "no..". The Prophet then asked one of the people there to summon the man's mother. She was reluctant at first but after begging her, he decided to go and see her son. Prophet Muhammad then said to the mother if she was willing to forgive her son. She said NO! When she was asked why not. She said that his son was more respective to his wife than he was to herself. Meaning, the man would rather listen to what the wife says than the mother. Silent. The Prophet asked his men to gather wood to burn the man. The mother was in shock and asked why her son was being burn. The Prophet then said, "the pain he will endure here (on earth) will lessen the pain he will endure in hell". (roughly what Prophet Muhammad said). The mother then cried and finally forgave her son. Miraculously, the pious man was then able to say "shadahah" just before his death.

As muslims, we are not to do what our heart desire because if a mother's approval is not achieved then there will be no blessing in our undertakings. Whatever it is that we do, we try to make our mother happy with the decisions we make and this may be difficult for some and it takes a lot of courage to do so. To strong this article, there was man who was very eager to fight in the name of Allah (jihad) and asked Prophet Muhammad if he can join him to fight in the holy war. The Prophet then asked him if her mother was still alive. The man then said, "Yes". The Prophet then asked him not to join the war as taking care of her mother was more important.

"Serve Allah, and join not any partners with Him; and do good to parents, kinsfolk, orphans, those in need, neighbours who are near neighbours who are strangers, the companion by your side, the way-farer (ye meet) and what your right hands possess: for Allah loveth not the arrogant, the vainglorious."

Pretty Disobedient

All glory and praises are due only for Allah, The Most Benevolent and The Most Considerate. Who created the heavens and the earth in six days. The solar system is under his governance. The sole owner of everything. We owe nothing in this world, in fact. We are owned and will be returned to Him one day. He is very close. So close than humans often don't even realize it. We dedicated this life only for Him. We perform good deeds only to attain His pleasure and not to gain worldly fortunes. We are at our weakest state when..we are far from Him. We give up so quickly on Him and often beaten at our own game but those who has a strong will power should be able to fight the evil inner voice in us, Allah's will.

One time, Prophet Muhammad, our beloved one, made this world peaceful that everyone , muslims and non-muslims were treated fairly, everyone was protected and there were equal treatments all over. There WAS equality and harmony. Something that is very difficult to attain in this day and age. Sometimes, it feels as if time is going back to the time of ignorance where people would just do and not think. People would drink, commit adultery, gamble and go to fortune tellers. Time is ticking and more and more people are still being fascinated with this world made up of rock, liquid and soil.

Satan is our biggest enemy and he WILL make sure that each and every muslim will turn apostate especially those who are weak, those who let false desires be their God. Satan will persuade humans to lose hope on Allah, to give in to false intentions and lusts, to do wrong and evil on earth. History has proven that those who followed the footsteps of satan will be "showered" with "gifts"as traces of ruins of the evildoers are still apparent even until today. Satan can be beaten if our heart is pure and if we stand together, satan will fear us.

Humans, they are the same in the eyes of God. What differentiates them is their obedience towards the All Mighty. A man with not a lot of money in his pocket might not look appealing to us but if the man had his time devoted to Allah, you would be very shocked to see where he stand one day. You would also think that a girl who say little may seemed boring and dull but if that girl only say good, does not tell lies and speak only when is necessary, then, you may begged to differ. Another example would be, a cleaner who scrubs toilets, sweep floors and take out garbage may sound like someone whom we would generally disgust but the fact that matter is, just as long as they perform their duties as a muslim, they are closer to Allah than we think they are because they are the ones who cleanse the filth humans made and picks up the cigarette butts we throw. Allah likes cleanliness and satan enjoys filth.

In this arena of fame and fortune, humans are often neglected with the items which has been given to them. Such as beauty, rank and wealth. Every single thing is a test for us. Unattractiveness, no status and poor can also prove the same. Just like a rat being lured to get into a trap with a fragment of cheese. So low how humans have become. Obviously, humans are bigger than a rat. Unfortunately, there are those who preferred to be marked lower than this. Why? Because of the beauty one has, they tend to be arrogant, proud and can do without Allah attitude. They let themselves be known by the world, they post pictures of them in the most seductive way, the tell the whole world how disobedient they are to Allah, they exposed themselves without knowing the consequences they will be facing during Judgement Day. If you look at the world of models, both in the eastern and western nations, those who are naive and ignorant would probably look up to them and fancy their lifestyle as they are glamorous, beautiful and rich. Empty how their heart is.

Often, those who are aware and told that they are beautiful will not wear hijab. But all praises are due to Allah, they are some who managed to not let satan control their desires. Its know way know how world we live in. If we let our friends control and deceive us, especially disobedient muslim friends, one day in the future you will reflect back of what your fiends have made you become, let alone non-muslim friends. This is not to say that having plenty of friends are bad, they are friends who inculcates good deeds and forbids what is forbidden in Islam.

Good real sincere friends are the jewels of the world. If one had a companion who is obedient, help those who are needy, kind to those who are pious, who had piety, harsh to those who are disobedient and practice the teachings of Islam, then insya Allah, that friend will not lead you to astray but will lead you the infinite bliss here and after this world has turned to dust. The trick to finding good friends are often difficult because undeniably there are humans who has hidden agendas and will do anything do be our friend. One of the hidden agendas would be a person would get close to us just so he or she can ruin us slowly, just like cancer.

Allah mentioned in the Qur'an that He will let go of His 'Hand' (help) if a muslim befriend with a non-believer when there are still muslims around. Basically, Allah is saying that it is better to find friends who are muslims because if one is close to a non-believer, he or she is indirectly supporting the ways of the non-believer even though we are not following them. Wallahu'alam. Are we going REALLY going to support the ways of unbelievers? Are we strong enough to withstand the fire of hell? Allah is The Most Fair and He will judge us one day. We just need to be extra picky when choosing a right friend and based our decision from the Islamic viewpoint and this can be gotten from The Qur'an and hadeeth.

"O ye who believe! take not for friends Unbelievers rather than Believers: do ye wish to offer Allah an open proof against yourselves?" [An-Nisaa: 144]

Muslims can be defined as those who are obedient to Allah and avoid what is sinful. Hypocrites are much worse, in fact, one time, one of the closest companion of our beloved Prophet Muhmmad had a dream that he was stabbed after he finished his fajr prayer (suboh). So when he went for the actual fajr prayer, he was actually stabbed and just before his said his syahadah, he asked one of his companion this question, "Was the person who killed me a muslim or a non-muslim?" The person then said, "a non-muslim". The thing we need understand here is, having a muslim friend who is a two-face (hypocrite) is much worse/fatal than having a non-muslim friend, just as long as they respect Islam as your religion and NOT make a mockery out of it. A muslim who is a hypocrite is like a cancer and you would not know until the symptoms are detected (such as not praying daily, not wearing hijab and so on) and when compared to a non-muslim, its obvious that they are not. Wallahu'alam.

Beggars can never be choosers

Allah, the only God there is who created everything by His command. Everything has a purpose and nothing will lay useless. Every step and action that we take will be questioned, every single cent that we spend will be accounted and every sigh will be noted. There is nothing on earth that can escape from His watchful Eyes. He is The Most Kind and The Most Passionate. He hears those who begs for his forgiveness, He hears those who quietly whispers good or evil. You can never run and you can never hide. Those who dies believing that there is no God but Allah and Prophet Muhammad is His messenger, 'insya Allah will be rewarded abundantly and those who dies believing in something besides Allah will be "rewarded" in the most severest way.

Prophet Muhammad is His last and final messenger and he is guaranteed paradise by Allah. He mentioned not of what he had achieved during his lifetime nor did he announce his countless triumphs. During his last friday sermon, he asked his congregation if any of them had any complaint or in any way dissatisfied what he had brought to them. Everyone replied by saying that they are satisfied with his teachings. Everything action he had done, every word he had said and every battles he had fought are for us to learn by and there isn't a day that goes by that we cannot rely upon his teachings.

We miss him extremely. He set the best example to all humankind both to muslims and non-muslims. He fed food using his bare hand to a blind female jew even though the female jew uttered bad things about him. He was extremely passionate to cats that one time a cat was sleeping on his cloth and afraid that it would wake the cat, he cut his cloth around the cats body. He is the true perfectionist and those who have admitted that they are perfectionist then The Prophet is your perfect role model. As his follower, we should at least try to follow every single step that he took. Drastic change could lead to someone to a tragic end but changing slowly will shape you.

We are slaves and slaves are meant to abide the laws that have been prescribed by The All MIGHTY. We are never meant to question and although we are naturally hasty but we are to try not to act hastily. God works are mysterious and nobody has the knowledge of how things are intended to be. We are here only to serve him and fear for Him. Those who rejects Islam teachings will be dishonored by creatures on earth and the next world. No doubt that Allah has the power to destroy us all for all the sins we have committed but He is The Most Passionate and He will forgive those who are sincere towards it and never to repeat the same mistakes twice.

Subbhanallah. Human are naturally weak and we often taken aback from the hardship that Allah had tested on us. If the pressure was to great, a person with little or no iman, would even kill themselves. That is what most non-believers do and for muslims to act that manner will be thrown into hellfire mercilessly. We are to rely everything upon Allah and not to humans as we all will return to Him one day. One fine day it will be for some but Allah's wrath awaits for many. Our beloved Prophet Muhammad was a perfect helper, father, grandfather, companion, kind enemy to some, the most patience person that ever walked on earth and the most nicest husband anyone could ever imagined.

One time, he went to the mosque and returned instantly just so he could helped his loving wife in the kitchen. He even knitted his torn clothes and shoes. He only asked helped from others if he was desperate and won't ask if he is able. He was a "maksum" (sin free) but yet he was the most obedient amongst many and when he was asked by one of his closest companion why he acted that way? The Prophet said, "Is it wrong for me to become one of his grateful/thankful servant?". Think about how our beloved behaved in front of God? Will we ever be do the same?

Humans naturally complain a lot. There is always something to complain about. Not happy with your job, not happy with your 'latest' car, not happy with your spouse, not happy your food, dissatisfied with your weight, not happy with your skin complexion, not happy with your allowance and generally not happy with everything. What does this tell us? It tells us how unhappy we are with Allah's fate. If one has a strong iman, a person would not complain as much as a person who has a weak iman. For example, if working person who is paid $600.00 per month, the person would know how to manage the available money (budgeted) but if the person was the type to spend more than what he/she has, then this person is more likely to act that way for the rest of her/his life. There is that need to control the habits of satan (unnecessary wastage).

The concept is simple really. We appreciate and take what God had given to us. We thank him for that gift so that hopefully he will give a better present for us. There could be things which we may think we like when in fact, it is bad for us and there may be things we think we hate when in fact it is good for us. Allah mentioned this in the Qur'an:

"Fighting is prescribed upon you, and ye dislike it. But it is possible that ye dislike a thing which is good for you, and that ye love a thing which is bad for you. But Allah knoweth, and ye know not." [Al-Baqarah: 216]

So, the more we complain, the more ungrateful we sound & the less iman we have and vice versa. But complaining does not always necessarily mean its a negative thing but there are actual NEED to complain such as how the society generally is. We CANNOT act as if we are blind because we live in a community of brotherhood and sisterhood. We have families, siblings, love ones, relatives and so on. Even if we have something to complain about, it should be not about us personally. Therefore, a complain should be of societal/religion/cultural in nature. It should cover a wide range of people as this would indirectly mean we care for them and we are not to act upon our own self interest.

"Mankind was one single nation, and Allah sent Messengers with glad tidings and warnings; and with them He sent the Book in truth, to judge between people in matters wherein they differed; but the People of the Book, after the Clear Signs came to them, did not differ among themselves, except through selfish contumacy. Allah by His Grace guided the Believers to the Truth, concerning that wherein they differed. For Allah guides whom He will to a path that is straight." [Al-Baqarah: 213]

Berjiran Dengan Masjid

[HR Muslim]
